Description
The Carrier HH18HV170 Auto Limit Switch is a protective device installed in Carrier HVAC equipment to control the temperature. It also works as an automatic reset switch that turns off the power supply to the system whenever the temperatures are in the range of 142°F and 170°F. This shut-off mechanisms assist with protecting the system from harming heat which may cause the system to stop functioning, break down. This is an automatic reset switch and therefore it goes back to operation once the temperature drops below the set limit.
