Description
The Trane CNT1220 is a 160°F automatic limit switch that is an essential safety component of Trane HVAC equipment. Built-in, it shuts down the system automatically if temperatures get too hot to prevent overheating and damage. This is a fail-safe device. This thermal limit switch houses a temperature sensor that tracks temperature continually. If the temperature goes over 160°F, the switch automatically cuts the equipment’s operation. When the temperature drops to about 160°F with a small tolerance, the switch automatically resets and the system is back up and running.
