Description
The Trane SWT1036 Automatic Reset high-limit switch protects HVAC system equipment like furnaces and boilers from overheating. It works between 130°F and 170°F temperatures. In the event the temperature of the system goes high beyond the set limit, the switch opens thus disconnecting the power supply to the equipment to avoid further damage. When the system cools down below the setpoint, the switch resets itself and the equipment can continue its function. This assists in reducing the dangers that come with the operation of HVAC systems.
