The Trane SWT1257 Auto Limit Switch is an essentialsafety device for HVAC systems. It keeps a temperature between 130°F and 160°F automatically to avoid overheating and damage. The system shuts down when temperature rises above 160°F and the switch opens normally closed configuration. When the temperature drops to 130°F, the temperature automatically resets and allows the device to function again.
