The York S1-025-31813-000 Auto Limit Switch is an essential part of the HVAC systems to provide safety and reliability. The auto limit switch is designed to regulate temperature within HVAC systems. It works within a temperature control of 130-160°F to prevent overheating of the system. If the temperature increases to a value of more than 160°F, the switch opens to stop the power or to shut down parts to avoid burning or posing some risks. When the temperature goes below 130°F, the switch resets and the system can go back to normal.
