The Lennox 33H78 Limit Switch 130-20F is a safety device indispensable for HVAC systems. It is a temperature sensor and switch, that when temperatures exceed a limit, it interrupts the electrical circuit. The switch, which is typically installed in furnaces, air handling units and other climate control systems, protects against overheating to prevent damage to equipment and fire hazards includes a bimetallic strip that bends with temperature changes. The bimetallic strip, when temperatures get above the limit (130°F in this case), switches off the system by triggering the switch mechanism.
