Description
The Lennox 71G15 120V Blocked Vent Switch is a safety device specifically designed for use in heating and cooling systems, more specifically in furnaces. This switch measures the temperature of the venting system and shuts down the furnace when an obstruction is sensed to prevent system damage due to high heat. It is designed to respond at 280°F and is expected to react to vent obstructions promptly. When the high temperature is sensed, the 71G15 Blocked Vent Switch opens the circuit breaker so that conditions like fire or furnace damage do not occur.
